PRODUCT DESIGNER, BILINGUAL INTERFACES
You will design the screens registrars, teachers and parents use every day — in Arabic and English, right-to-left and left-to-right, with neither treated as the translation.
ABOUT
THE ROLE.
Our users are busy people doing repetitive work under time pressure: a teacher taking a register in fifteen seconds, a bursar answering a parent at the counter. Good design here is mostly about removing steps. You will work from real school visits, not personas, and your designs will be judged by how little training they need.
WHAT YOU
WILL DO.
- Design end-to-end flows for new modules and improvements, from research through to shipped screens.
- Own bilingual quality: layouts, typography and printed documents that work equally well in Arabic and English.
- Visit schools and watch the product in use, then turn what you see into concrete changes.
- Maintain the design system with engineering, so the product stays consistent as it grows.
WHAT YOU
WILL BRING.
- A portfolio of shipped product work, ideally for complex, data-heavy tools.
- Hands-on experience with RTL interfaces and Arabic typography.
- Fluency in Figma and comfort handing work to engineers.
- Fluent Arabic and English.
Nice to have: experience designing for education, finance or government services, or basic HTML and CSS.
