We are a small product team building software that a registrar in a real school will open at 7:40 tomorrow morning. If you want distance between your work and the people affected by it, this is the wrong place.

HOW WE HIRE.
Four steps, about two weeks end to end, and we will tell you where you stand after each one. No take-home assignment that takes a weekend, and no panel of eight people asking the same question in rotation.
- A conversation — 30 minutes, mutual. You should be interviewing us too.
- A working session — 90 minutes on a real problem from our backlog, paired with the person who would work with you. Paid if it runs long.
- A school visit — for implementation and design roles, you sit in an actual school office for half a day. It is the most honest preview of the job we can give.
- An offer, or a clear no with reasons. Either way, within three days.
WHAT YOU SHOULD
KNOW BEFOREHAND.
The good
Short path from idea to production. You will meet the people who use what you build. Nobody has to write a business case to fix something obviously broken.
The trade-off
We are small. There is no dedicated QA team, no platform team, and some weeks you will do work that is not in your job title.
The hard part
School software has a brutal calendar. August and September are intense because a school year does not move for anyone. We plan around it, but we cannot remove it.
