ONE NUMBER.
EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK.
A report is only useful if you trust where the number came from. Every figure in Skoolarz comes straight from the same records a teacher entered and a parent is already looking at — so nobody has to double-check two different versions of the truth before a board meeting.
THE FOUR QUESTIONS
THAT ACTUALLY GET ASKED.
Where is the money?
What's collected against what was expected this term, what's outstanding by grade, what's overdue and for how long, plus the actual list of families behind each number. Export it as a spreadsheet whenever finance wants to work with it their own way.
Who is not in class?
Attendance by cohort, by subject, by term — with the day-by-day detail underneath, so any figure can be explained, not just quoted.
How is the year group doing?
Grade distribution for every course, calculated from your own grading formula — not from a teacher's separate spreadsheet.
What did we agree to?
Every charge and discount you've set up, which fee plans are active, and a full record of who changed what, and when.
NOT EVERY QUESTION
NEEDS A SPREADSHEET.
We take a deliberate position here: most "reporting features" in school software are just export buttons in disguise. If the only way to answer a question is to download a file and open it in a spreadsheet, the system hasn't answered anything.
So, the common questions get answered right on screen, with the ability to click through to the details behind any number. CSV export is there for when finance genuinely needs the raw data — bulk fee reports, whole-cohort exports — not as the main way to see how your own school is doing.
