CONFIGURABLE SCHOOL LOGO, EVERYWHERE

The school's own logo now appears on the login screen, every role dashboard, printed class schedules and finance documents. Previously it was dashboard-only, which meant a parent's invoice arrived carrying our branding instead of the school's.

QUIZ QUESTION BANK AND POOLED ATTEMPTS

Questions moved out of individual quizzes into a shared bank the whole department contributes to. A quiz now draws a random subset, so two students sitting the same assessment do not see the same paper.

• Server-side timing, so the clock cannot be manipulated in the browser
• Automatic marking for objective questions, manual queue for written answers
• Results feed the weighted course grade without re-keying

BUS ROUTES WITH ORDERED STOPS

Transport became a proper module rather than a text field on the student record. Routes are group entities with an assigned driver, a supervising teacher and an ordered list of stops from a bilingual place taxonomy.

LIVE CLASSES ON ANY LESSON

Teachers can turn a lesson into an embedded Jitsi room with moderator rights reserved to them. Students join from the lesson page rather than from a meeting link circulated in a message.

PER-PERIOD ATTENDANCE WITH DERIVED ROLLUPS

The largest change we have made. Attendance moved from one mark per day to a session record per scheduled period, with daily and term figures computed from the sessions rather than entered separately.

• Register opens on the teacher's current period with everyone present by default
• Daily status derived, so it can never contradict the periods underneath
• Class report over a date range for heads of year

INSTALLMENT SCHEDULES AND DISCOUNT TYPES

Fee plans stopped being a single amount. Charge types and discount types became configurable records with their own rules, and invoices became a calculation over them.

SCHEDULE PDF EXPORT

Added after a deputy head told us the timetable "needed to work on paper" and we initially assumed it was habit. It was not — printed schedules go on classroom doors, to substitute teachers without accounts, and into exam halls where phones are banned.

ROLE-SCOPED ANNOUNCEMENTS

Announcements gained targeting by role and group with a materialised recipient list, replacing a broadcast-to-everyone model that trained parents to ignore the channel.

FIRST GENERAL RELEASE

Administration, timetable, digital classroom, grading, invoicing, reports and the parent portal, in Arabic and English, after eight months running in two pilot schools.
